- Ken Elliott
Ken joined WeatherWorks as a full time Meteorologist in 2006. Ken “hails” from New York State, and attended college at The University at Albany, SUNY. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Atmospheric Science and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Owing to his New York roots, Ken’s daily forecast responsibilities at WeatherWorks are focused on New York and nearby New England. Outside of “nuts and bolts” operational meteorology, Ken coordinates WeatherWorks’ companywide vast, and growing, Information Technology needs to improve the client experience and internal workflow. Additionally, Ken spends time enhancing current products as well as developing new ones for clients, and also enjoys the challenge of working on past weather reconstruction/forensic meteorology. Ken is proud to hold full memberships in both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
In his spare time, Ken has varied interests ranging from digital photography and graphic design to reading mysteries, and of course living and dying (mostly dying of late) with his beloved Mets. While he might not admit it publicly, he probably watches too many reality TV shows on cable.
