Tommy joined Weather Works as an intern during the summer of 1996 and was hired as a full-time Meteorologist in May of 1997. He graduated from Kean University in 1997 with a degree in Earth Science | Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. In addition, Tommy finished top in his Meteorology class, graduated Summa Cum Laude and was asked to receive a symbolic Bachelor of Arts degree at the commencement ceremonies on behalf of all the candidates in the School of Natural Science, Nursing and Mathematics. Tommy's daily work load consists of the following: creating weather forecasts, issuing storm alerts, briefing clients in, certified past weather reports for law firms (Plaintiff and Defense), testifying as a weather expert witness in court, recording weather forecasts on radio stations, and more. Since graduating from Kean University, Tommy has completed courses dealing with Forensic Meteorology, such as, seminars on de-icing, anti-icing, abrasives, and snow & ice removal. He is a current member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. Tommy is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) by the American Meteorological Society and was recently designated an Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) by the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA).
