Tommy joined Weather Works as an intern during the summer of 1996 and was hired as a full time Meteorologist in May of 1997. He graduated from Kean University in 1997 with a degree in Earth Science | Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. In addition, Tommy finished top in his Meteorology class, graduated Summa Cum Laude and was asked to receive a symbolic Bachelor of Arts degree at the commencement ceremonies on behalf of all the candidates in the School of Natural Science, Nursing and Mathematics. Tommy's daily work load consists of the following: creating weather forecasts, issuing storm alerts, briefing clients in on various aspects of the weather, certified past weather reports for law firms (Plaintiff and Defense), testifying as a weather expert witness in court, recording weather forecasts on radio stations (Magic 98.3 FM, WCTC 1450 AM, WRNJ Oldies 1510 AM, etc.) and much more. Since graduating from Kean University, Tommy has completed several computer programming classes (CGI, HTML and PERL), and courses dealing with Forensic Meteorology such as, seminars on de-icing, anti-icing, abrasives and snow & ice removal. He is a current member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. Back in 2011, Tommy was designated a Certified Consulting Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.
