We know weather. For more than three decades, we have been helping companies know in advance just when storms will hit their areas, so that they can be prepared for the worst.  They have come to depend on the weather experts here at Weather Works to give them the information they need when they need it.   Sure, there are other weather forecasting firms, but we are different. Read on and we will tell you how different we are, and how that difference can favorably impact your bottom line.

Our services include:

Storm Alerts: 
As inclement weather approaches, our meteorologists will issue your first forecast or alert via fax or email in the early morning and/or 24-48 hours prior to the onset of the anticipated event.  Alerts provide details on anticipated arrival, intensity, duration, accumulation confidence and any other types of critical hazards.  An updated storm alert will be sent as conditions become imminent and especially when there is a resulting change in the prior alert.  Updates are typically sent 6-12 hours prior to the onset of the storm.

"Heads-Up" Notification Alerts: 
Probably the most important aspect of the service for crew and materials preparation!  Notification is made as either a text message or phone call to you 1-4 hours prior to the anticipated arrival of the storm.  Middle of the night wake up calls or texts are optional.

Telephone Consultation:  
Need to make a crucial decision?  Bring in men for rush hour?  Or send them home early?  Not sure?  Give us a call.  We can help answer some of the more difficult questions when timing is important and you need that professional edge. Our meteorologists (staff) are live and in the WeatherWorks office 24/7 so that we can address your weather related questions or concerns.

Customized Weather Web Page: 
A customized and comprehensive on-line weather web page with your company / business logo is provided to you with unlimited access to real-time weather data such as Doppler radar, satellite images, weather observations, climate data as well as watches / warnings issued for your work area.  Information regarding tropical storms, drought, flood potential or any other potential hazards can be added on at your request.

Certified Snowfall Totals™: 
Provide your client with post-storm documentation with your invoices and billable hours.  We document and verify thousands of reports after each storm, tabulate and summarize them into an easy to read format, which we certify for accuracy.  In addition to snow / ice totals, we include a detailed summary of the major components of each storm such as start / end times, temperature, blowing / drifting snow, etc.  For more information, check out our Certified Snowfall Totals™ service.
