It’s raining outside, and you probably are clueless on what to do. We decided to help you out by compiling a list of the top 5 things to do on a rainy day..

1. Watch TV shows or a movie

Movies are a great way to spend a few hours of the day as the rain passes. Catch up on the season of Game of Thrones you haven’t watched, or begin to watch the latest TV show series on Netflix. You can also rent movies and TV shows from Amazon or iTunes if you don’t have a Netflix or Hulu account.

2. Channel your inner meteorologist

No Netflix? No problem! You can bring out your inner meteorologist by watching the radar on your phone, computer, TV, or tablet. Check out the visible satellite using GOES-16 data, or use your local National Weather Service’s (NWS) radar to track these storms. You can also tune in to us on Twitter and Facebook and track the storm using social media!

3. Take a nap

Who doesn’t like a nap? Unless you have a pet jumping on your head or a kid throwing a toy at you, it’s never a bad decision. It’s a great way to help pass the time and catch up on some sleep you may have been missing out on. Here are some nap tips from Huffingtonpost.

4. Play some cards and/or board games

If you’re all caught up on sleep and don’t want to watch some television, bring out a deck of cards or your favorite board game! A few fun games that can be played with friends using a deck of cards include War, Gin Rummy, Poker, and Blackjack. With board games, Monopoly is always an option, along with Scrabble, and LIFE.

5. Read a Book

A relaxing thing to do as you hear rain hit your roof is to read a book. Kick back, relax, and finish the book you’ve wanted to finish, or start a new book. A few Sherlock Holmes adventures may fit the rainy day well…
